The objective

To recruit and develop new business partners to sell the client's products in the areas of Financial Accounting and Procurement within the UK.

It was envisaged that there would be two types of partner. The first group of partners would operate in the SME market, in conjunction with the client's existing direct sales organization, with a focus on the organization in four vertical sectors already serviced. Prospects were to be targeted by turnover and on a regional basis. The second set of partners would work in conjunction with a specific vertical application of their own.
